Today we went to Hawaii Volcanoes National Park. The lava is no longer flowing into the ocean but is still flowing... however it was a minimum 10-12 mile hike to find it and we hadn't planned on that. We did see the Halema'uma'u Crater which is active and walked through a lava tube.
we ended the day with some Thai Food... had a thai coffee while waiting for our order. Hawaii service seems to be extremely slow compared to other states... You get used to waiting around...
